Usage Method for Nintendo Switch (The described sequence must be followed.)
Step 1: Connect the power supply to the original Switch adapter.
Step 2: Insert the Switch adapter into the USB-C female interface (PD port) of the USB-C Hub.
Step 3: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the USB-C Hub.
Step 4: Connect the other end of the HDMI to the monitor/TV, and turn on the monitor/TV.
Step 5: Connect the USB-C hub to the Switch, power on the Switch.
Step 6: Wait for around 6 seconds, the picture transition is completed.
Notice (This is very important):
1. This adapter is compatible with laptop and Nintendo Switch, it will be not compatible with Tablets, Tablet PCs or Smartphones (except Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/Note8/S9/S9+/Note9, HuaweiMate20/Mate20 Pro/ Mate10/Mate10 Pro/P20/P20 Pro).
2. Your laptop must support “DisplayPort Alternate Mode” (DP Alt Mode) via USB-C.
3. If the product doesn't work, you can visit the official website of your laptop, update the BIOS and graphics driver. Then keep the adapter connecting with your devices, and restart your devices.
4. If the resolution of your laptop is higher than the external monitor, please go to Windows Menu --> Setting --> Display --> Advanced Display Settings, set your laptop's resolution same as or lower the resolution of external monitor.
5. For some compatible devices, it might take a few seconds for the data to synchronize from computer with your monitor, please be patient.
6. DO NOT connect other adapter/converter to this adapter for a second signal convert, we can't guarantee it works well.
7. Type-C female connector only supports charging your type-c host device, do not support data transfer.
8. 4K resolution requires a 4K equipped source, HDMI V2.0 cable, and output display.
9. This isn't a bi-directional adapter. Can only convert signal from Type-C to HDMI/USB3.0/USB-C port.
10. If you are in wireless network zone, please switch to 5Ghz transmission signal if your router/Wi-Fi supports. 2.4Ghz signal may have conflict with the adapter.
11. When working with Nintendo Switch, please follow the instructions to connect devices, or it won't work.
12. Please supply power for your Samsung smartphone via USB C interface of the adapter, then Samsung Dex mode will work.
13. For some compatible devices, the USB 3.0 port sometimes can not work normally. This problem is caused by the incompatibility of the system, not by the product itself.
14. For some compatible smartphones, please connect the power supply to the USB-C female port of the adapter, the HDMI port of the adapter will work.
