Digital PH Meter Calibration Tips:

a. Dissolve PH buffer powder in 250ml of distilled water.

b. Clean the electrode in distilled water and turn on PH meter, then immerse the electrode in PH standard solution.

c. Press ”CAL” button, make the reading equal to standard buffer solution PH 6.86, 4.01 or 9.18.

d. Clean electrode with distilled water and dry it.

About the accuracy:

• If normal accuracy required for ph meter, we can calibrate it just with one of ph 6.86, ph 4.01 or ph 9.18 solution.
• If higher accuracy required in testing Acid liquid, pls calibrate ph meter with ph 6.86 solution first, then with ph 4.01 solution.
• If higher accuracy required in testing Alkaline liquid, pls calibrate ph meter with ph 6.86 solution first, then with ph 9.18 solution.
• If highest accuracy required in testing Acid liquid, pls calibrate ph meter with ph 6.86 solution first, then with ph 9.18 solution, last with ph 4.01 solution.
• If highest accuracy required in testing Alkaline liquid, pls calibrate ph meter with ph 6.86 solution first, then with ph 4.01 solution, last with ph 9.18 solution.
• Last but not least, we recommend to mildly stir the liquid before or in testing, to avoid the effect of Mal-distributed of H+ in liquid. As we know, different water layer have different ph value, the ph is different in different water depth, even a small cup's depth.
