Salicylic Acid 2% Masque

SalicylicAcid 2% Masque is formulated to target lackluster tone and texturalirregularities. The formula, infused with charcoal and clays, aims to enhancethe appearance of smoothness and clarity, leaving the skin feeling refreshed.The structure of salicylic acid facilitates its lipophilicity and miscibilitywith the lipids located on the surface of the skin. It is a suitable ingredientfor targeting the removal of dead skin cells on the surface of oily andblemish-prone skin, with the purpose of revealing more radiant skin beneath.Charcoal and clays are ingredients renowned for their deep cleansing abilitiesdue to their porosity and large surface area available for adsorption. They aidthe removal of facial impurities that would otherwise remain on the skinsurface and clog pores. In comparison to Salicylic Acid 2% Solution, SalicylicAcid 2% Masque is a rinse-off formula. Leave on for no longer than 10 minutesin order to maximize the exfoliating benefits.Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling, orcompromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and otherwarnings in provided Directions.Note: While exfoliating acids can result in quick visible benefits, wegenerally suggest the use of indirect forms of skin exfoliation in favour ofdirect forms such as this formula due to potential inflammation and sensitivityassociated with acids. Directions

Useonce or twice a week on thoroughly clean, dry skin. Do not use on wet skin.Apply evenly across face using fingertips, avoiding the eye area. Leave on forno more than 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Do not use onsensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact witheyes both during application and rinse off. Patch testing prior to use isadvised: Apply the product as directed to a small area once a day for threedays to test if you are sensitive to this product. If you develop severeirritation, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficultybreathing, rinse off, cease use and consult a physician right away. Keep out ofreach of children. Sunburn Alert: This product contains a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that mayincrease your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility ofsunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure whileusing this product and for a week afterwards.

The Salicylic Acid 2%Masque does what it claims to do. This masque did an excellent job sloughingaway the dead skin cells and revealed a whole bunch of awesomeness - radiant,soft, refreshed skin! I have used this product twice a week for approximatelyfour weeks now. I would love for this product to be available in a larger size,perhaps in a 100ml tube. I am also enjoying several other products from TO; Iappreciate the product quality, no fragrance AND the affordable price.

With my ordinary skincare regime my oily blemish prone skin usually stays clear except when I getsick. My skin had broken out and I was applying the salicylic acid solutionwhich was somewhat (slower than I wanted) improving my skin/blemish appearancebut when the mask arrived in the mail I tried it right away hoping it wouldhelp. I applied it for the 10 mins and the next morning my skin look so much betterwith less redness, minimized or vanished blemishes and overall smooth andclearer skin. I will be incorporating this in as a weekly thing and also forthose bad breakout days. My skin did feel a little tight after washing off butI applied my regular moisturizer and everything was good by morning. Very happyto have this as an option.
